2009 Adventure Racing Camps
Our Adventure Racing Camps, held on the same day as the race, are designed to introduce beginners to the sport of adventure racing. We will spend the day learning new skills and immediately applying them while we hike, bike, and paddle in beautiful outdoor locations. There is no experience necessary and you don't need a partner, just a desire to learn new skills, meet other adventure racing enthusiasts, and have fun.
What you'll Learn
Our adventure racing camp is divided into three segments; mountain biking, kayaking, and navigation. During each segment you will start with an instructor-led tutorial that reviews the basics of each discipline. Then you'll put these skills to work hiking, biking, and paddling under the watchful eye of the instructor. You'll have a great day in the outdoors and walk away with some new skills.
