How do I take advantage of my NYARA or NEARA discount?

In order to take advantage of your NYARA or NEARA discount, you will need to fill out a paper registration form and mail it to Genesis. Just make a note of the member discount on the registration form and apply the appropriate discount to the fee that you mail in. How did I redeem my race coupon?

In order to redeem a race coupon you will need to submit a paper registration form and include the coupon with your registration along with any fees due. Forms for each event are located on each race page.

What happens on race day?

Your team will arrive and head to the registration table. You each need to sign a waiver form, then pick up your race packet. The race packet will include your team number with pins to attach it to your clothing, a punch card, and maps of the course. You should also receive a goodie bag. You may then place your gear in the transition area. At the 8:00 pre-race meeting, you will receive a sheet of written instructions to locate the checkpoints. You will then plot your course between 8:00 and 9:00 on your map. You will decide the best route to travel. To complete the course, you must punch the card at each checkpoint to prove that you found it. During the race you will return to the transition area several times to change equipment and to retrieve food and water.

What is the entry fee for the races?

Fees are listed on the main page for each event.
