Last year's gear list is below. There may be modifications as we go forward. The first scouting trip for the course is scheduled for April 27th, we'll have more information for you then.
Gear List
Individual
* Water proof bag / dry bag per person
* 4 small Zip lock baggies
* Cell phones (we recommend that each person carry one)
* Sleeping bag optional only if camping out
* Life jacket select one that allows for a lot of mobility
* Back pack - needs to be large enough to carry all of your gear plus a few surprises along the way
* Low gear Mountain Bike per person
* Bike gloves are recommended
* Bike Helmut per person required even if you are borrowing a bike
* 1 set of swim fins (optional, you carry what you bring)
* 1 boogie board (optional, you carry what you bring)
* Pair of trail shoes
* Sun glasses
* Sun screen
* SPF lip screen
* Thin socks 2 pairs
* Long Sleeve shirt
* Comfortable shorts (lycra with no seems and no undies work best)
* Whistle per person
* Water bladder / camel back per person
* Sun hat
* Rain poncho optional
* Baggies of food and electrolyte drinks for energy and hydration during the race
Team
* 30 foot piece of rope per team. Please NO large ropes a small mill rope or cord will work fine 7 millimeters
* Compass
* 1 Tire pump
* 1 Tire tube
* 1 Head lamp per team
* 1 Roll of duct tape
* 1 Roll of clear contact paper or waterproof map carrying case
* 1 Large Zip lock bag per team
* 1 (4) person tent or 2 (2) person tent
* 1 Pair of swim fins per team
* First aid Kit
o Ace bandadages
o Non-stretch medical strapping tape
o Bandages (2) 2" x 3"
o Second skin, moleskin (most use duct tape)
o Antiseptic Solution
o Antibacterial Ointment
o Scissors / Tweezers
o Aspirin / Ibuprofen
o Antihistamine - 5 tablets
